Welcome to Westside Liquor’s monthly cigar newsletter. It is our goal to spread the good word about new and exciting products in each and every newsletter. We also will give staff reviews of featured products to help you pick out a new cigar. In future issues we will also delve into informative articles so we all can better understand the contributing factors involved in bringing us our favorite cigar.

Macanudo Vintage 1993 Number XX

Our last months spicy Diablo left a need for a smooth, relaxing smoke to take the edge off. The Macanudo Vintage is the gold nugget at the end of the waterfall in the cigar world. Macanudo since the 1970's starting picking the finest of the finest tobacco leaves for these cigars. About every five years, this priceless gem can be mined. Macanudo Vintages are only produced if the right amount of rainfall and the perfect temperature has been accrued throughout that year, in their finest tobacco. But since 1997, Macanudo has not released any more Vintages, making it the newest Vintage nine years old. The other four years are 1979, 1984, 1988, and 1993. I had the pleasure of smoking the 1993 Vintage cigar. This13 year old cigar was the smoothest, enjoyable smoke I have experienced in all the cigars I have conquered. The Vintage is aged three years before it is even available. So they to get your cigar grabbing fingers around a couple of priceless chunk of tobacco, before they are gone. They only put out so many of these Vintage cigars. This 1993 Macanudo Vintage receives a 9 on my scale.
