February is here and with it hopefully we will see some warmer weather. Regardless of the weather, we have some new, exciting beers to offer and some returning beers due to your customer requests.
Let’s start with the new beers:
Breckenridge Brewing Company’s spring offering is Pandora’s Bock. It has a very nice balance of malt with just the right touch of hops resulting in one of the better bocks available.
Grand Teton has the XX Bitch Creek. If you have tried the normal Bitch Creek, this is even more impressive. An ESB style with everything doubled. It is very smooth and a nice warming beer for these cold winter days.
New Belgium Brewing Company has released Mighty Arrow Pale Ale as their spring seasonal. This was previously available only in the Folly Pack, now in six and twelve packs. This beer is the closest to a style that I have ever tasted from New Belgian, finishing on the hoppy side.
Not new, but an ever sought after limited release beer is Bell’s Hopslam. If you have had this, you know what it is about. If not, I recommend you come in and get a six pack before it is gone for the year. There are not many beers out there that give you that much hops in one twelve ounce bottle.
From New Zealand, we now have Steinlager.
From Turkey, Efes Pilsner will be available soon.
Again, we want to please as many of you as possible so due to your requests, some beers have returned to the shelves. Pyramid IPA, Hefe, and Apricot have been brought back. Pete’s Wicked Ale and Strawberry Blonde as well as Flying Dog Double Dog Pale Ale have also returned to the shelves.
Unfortunately, McEwens Scotch Ale and Theakstons Old Peculier are no longer imported into the United States so if you like these beers, buy them when you see them as the will be gone soon.
Happy February and stay warm!
