1 1/2 ounce(s) fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce(s) superfine sugar
3 ounce(s) gin
Seltzer, to taste
Combine lemon juice and sugar in a 24-ounce glass and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add gin and fill the glass with large ice cubes. Top with seltzer until the glass is full. Garnish with a maraschino cherry pinned to an orange slice, if desired.
