Pink Lemonade Vodka Beer Punch

Few things are more summery than lemonade or an ice-cold beer, but the addition of the chilled vodka will give this a little more of a zing than just a basic shandy.

Ingredients:
1 12-oz. can freeze pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
3 12-oz. chilled bottles of beer (use pale ale or lager)
3/4 c. vodka, chilled

Ingredients:
1 ¼ oz Pisco Porton
½ oz Kahlua
½ oz Pisco marinated with fresh plums
1 ½ oz evaporated milk
1 egg yolk
Grated chocolate

Directions:
Rim a martini glass with grated chocolate. Half-fill a shaker with ice and add each ingredient one at a time in the order above. Stir ingredients together vigorously until thoroughly mixed and drain into the martini glass.

Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Pisco Porton
1 oz Bailey's Irish Crème
½ oz Amaretto
Garnish with fudge

Directions:
Decorate the rim and bottom of the glass with chocolate fudge. Combine the Amaretto and Pisco Porton in a shaker with ice and shake well. drain into a martini glass and then repeat with the Bailey's and white cacao crème. Pour Bailey's and white cacao crème over a spoon gently to achieve a layered effect.

Planters Punch #1

For a thirsty crowd, multiply the recipe by a number of servings and serve in a pitcher with ice.

Ingredients:
2 oz Dark Rum
2 oz Orange Juice
2 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz lime juice
Dash Grenadine
Orange slice and cherry for garnish

Directions:
Combine 3 juices and Rum in a shaker with ice. shake well, and drain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Top with grenadine. Garnish with an Orange slice and a Maraschino Cherry. Personally, I prefer to simply drop the cherry in the punch, thus allowing it to soak up all that great flavor! Planter’s punch is an additional Caribbean Cocktail

Ingredients:
1 cup white rum
1 cup fresh orange juice (about 2 oranges)
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup bottled guava nectar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon Angostura bitters
6 cinnamon sticks
6 fresh pineapple slices
6 orange slices
6 maraschino cherries
1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg (optional)

Directions:
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a pitcher. Serve over ice. Garnish each serving with 1 cinnamon stick, 1 pineapple slice, 1 orange slice, and 1 cherry. sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.

Place ice cubes in a champagne flute to chill the glass.

Ingredients:
1/2 ounce Grand Marnier liqueur
1-ounce vodka
3 ounces cranberry juice
champagne

Directions:
Place ice cubes in a champagne flute to chill the glass. Add Grand Marnier, vodka, cranberry juice and ice to a cocktail shaker. shake well. Remove ice cubes from a champagne flute and drain the contents of the shaker into the flute. Top off glass with champagne and serve.

1/4 cup vodka

2 strips orange zest, each about 1/4-inch wide and 2 inches long

Directions:
Combine the vodka, Champagne and juice in a large-stemmed red wine glass. Add crushed ice and stir until the mixture is well chilled. Twist the orange strips over the glass, drop them in, and serve.

Ingredients:
3 to 4 tangerines (optional)
Maraschino cherries (optional)
3 cups cranberry juice, chilled
1/4 cup Triple Sec, orange liqueur, or orange juice
2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice or grenadine syrup
1 750-ml bottle champagne or sparkling apple juice or one 32-ounce bottle carbonated water or lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
Small carambola (star fruit) slices, seeded (optional)

Directions:
If you like, use a vegetable peeler or a thin sharp knife to thinly peel the tangerines into about 6-inch long spirals of the peel. Place a tangerine spiral into each chilled champagne flute. If you like, add 1 or 2 maraschino cherries. In a glass pitcher, combine chilled cranberry juice, Triple Sec, and maraschino cherry juice. For each serving, half fill the chilled champagne flute with a cranberry juice mixture (about 2 ounces). Pour in the chilled champagne and fill almost to the top (about 2 ounces). Gently stir with an up-and-down motion (mixes the drink without destroying the carbonation of the champagne). Garnish the rim with a carambola (star fruit) slice. Makes 12 to 14 (4-ounce) servings.

Potatoes and Onions Roasted with Rosemary and Sage – Serve with Red Blend

Preheat oven to 350*F.

8 small gold potatoes
8 pearl onions, peeled
2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
2 sprigs fresh sage

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*F. Peel a 1/4 Strip around the center of each potato. Put the potatoes and onions in a baking dish with a d. Combine the vinegar and butter in a small bowl and pour over the potatoes. Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper and toss to coat evenly. Nestle the herb sprigs among the potatoes and cover. Bake until the potatoes are tender, about 1 hour, turning every 20 minutes. Serve hot.

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass rimmed with brown rimming sugar. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. *Pumpkin Simple Syrup Preparation: Add all ingredients to a saucepan over high heat, bring to a boil stirring to allow sugar to dissolve, remove from heat and allow to completely cool.
