Baileys Velvet Mocha
Warm-up with this Bailey’s cocktail.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Baileys with a Hint of Coffee
4 oz Hot chocolate
Fresh whipped cream
3 Coffee beans for garnish
Directions:
Prepare hot chocolate. Pour Baileys and hot chocolate into a coffee mug. Top with a dollop of whipped cream. Garnish with coffee beans.

Banana Cream Pie

Basil Beerade

Ingredients:
1 c water
⅔ c sugar
½ c lemon-lime juice, about 2 lemons, and 2 limes, or you can use all lemons or limes
½ c loosely packed basil, rinsed, 1.2 oz
2 12 oz cans of cheap beer
Ice
Directions:
Squeeze juice from lemons and lime. Reserve ½ c and set aside. Place basil in a food processor. Pulse a few times. Put chopped basil in a small bowl. Place bowl next to the stove. Put the water and sugar in a pot over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, about 90 seconds. When sugar dissolves add chopped basil and simmer for 1 minute. Immediately remove from heat and strain into a small bowl. Press basil with a spatula to get all the basil-infused simple syrup. Discard basil. Add lemon-lime juice to the simple syrup and let cool. Place lemon-lime/simple syrup mixture in a large pitcher filled with a little ice. Pour in 2 cans of beer. Stir well as the tiny bits of basil will settle at the bottom. Serve in a pint glass over ice and garnish with lemon or lime slice and a sprig of basil.

Beer Crepes with Beer Caramelized Apples

Ingredients:
For the Crepes:
2 large eggs,
3/4 cup cream ale, pale ale or wheat beer
½ cup whole milk
1 cup flour
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbs melted butter (plus additional for pan)
pinch salt
For the apples:
5 tbs butter
1 lbs (about 3) granny smith apples, peeled, cores and thinly sliced
1/3 cup brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon (Vietnamese cinnamon preferred)
pinch salt
¼ cup cream ale, pale ale or wheat beer
Directions:
Put all the crepe ingredients in a blender, blend until combined. Put the batter in the fridge for one hour and up to 12 (can be made the night before). To make the apples melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the apples, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Cook until the apples have softened. Add the beer and simmer until the liquid has thickened to a syrup, set aside. In a 10 inch non-stick skillet melt 1 tablespoon butter. Add about ¼ cup batter, swirl the pan to spread the batter into a thin circle. Cook over medium-high heat until the top is dry. Flip the crepe using a spatula, cook until the underside is golden brown. Continue until all batter is used. Fill the crepes with apples, serve warm.

Beer Margaritas
Pour lemonade, tequila, water, and beer into a large pitcher. Stir until well-blended, and lemonade has melted. Add plenty of ice, and garnish with lime wedges. Adjust with additional water, if needed.

Beer n’ Butter Poultry Injection
Use this injection marinade to reach deep into the meat of poy. It works really well on turkey. Make sure the mixture is warm to keep the butter in liquid form.

2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Tabasco
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons garlic powder

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over low heat. Stir and heat until salt is dissolved and the sauce is even and runny. keep warm (but not hot) to inject.

Directions:
Muddle together the raspberries and honey liqueur at the bottom of your shaker. Pour in gin and grapefruit juice, then shake with ice for about 15 seconds. Use an a-fine drainer and pour it into a chilled cocktail glass.

Bitter Neighbor Spicy Chili

Ingredients:
2 lbs ground beef
2 white onions (chopped)
29 oz diced tomatoes (with juice)
30 oz tomato sauce
12 oz Bitter Neighbor Black IPA
30 oz chili beans
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsps Tabasco
1/3 cup chili powder
4 jalapeno peppers (seeded and chopped)
3 tbsp red pepper flakes
Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until evenly browned. Drain grease. Transfer the beef to a large soup pot. Add onions, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Bitter Neighbor Black IPA and chili beans. Season with Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, chili powder, jalapenos, and red pepper flakes. Cover the pot, and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Turn off heat, and let cool, then refrigerate for two days. It gets much better with time. Heat and serve.

Black and Tan Beer Pops

Ingredients:
Tan Layer
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (half of a 14 oz can)
¼ cup Cold brown ale beer
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Whipping Cream
Black Layer
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (half of a 14 oz can)
¼ cup Cold stout beer
2 Tbsp. Chocolate-flavor syrup
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
1 cup Whipping cream
Directions:
To make a tan layer, in a medium bowl, stir together 2/3 cup condensed milk, the brown ale beer and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla until well mixed. In a chilled medium bowl, beat 1 cup whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture. Divide mixture among fourteen 5-oz paper cups (about 1/4 cup each). Cover with foil; insert craft stick (a flat wooden stick with round ends) through foil into center of pop. Freeze 3 to 4 hours or until frozen. When the first layer is frozen, make a black layer. To make a black layer, in a medium bowl, stir together 2/3 cup condensed milk, the stout beer, chocolate syrup and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla until well mixed. In a chilled medium bowl, beat 1 cup whipping cream with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture. Remove foil from pops. Pour mixture over the frozen layer. Return foil to pops to help support sticks. Freeze about 8 hours or until frozen before serving. Store remaining pops covered in the freezer.
